Chennai residents may have to wait longer for train services to different parts of the country. The high number of Covid-19 cases in the city is the reason Indian Railways is not looking at operating trains even though a decision has been taken to run 200 special trains across the country from June1. The city has been seeing a minimum of 300 to 400 cases a day for the past few days.
