NRIs eye ready-to-occupy houses in Chennai

The coronavirus outbreak which has triggered layoffs overseas has prompted non-resident Indians (NRIs) to buy ready-to-occupy houses back home. During the lockdown, city-based developers and real estate agents have been receiving inquiries from NRIs, largely in the Middle-East, over housing projects in and around Chennai.
