A day after three life convicts tested positive for Covid-19, swabs were lifted from more than 190 of their contacts to prevent the central prisons from turning into a new hotspot for Covid-19. But there’s still a puzzle for prison officials to crack. The source of infection of the three life convicts, two from Cuddalore and one from Trichy, is yet to be identified.
