More than 3,000 tonnes of cargo and 200 tonnes of medical equipment were brought to the city by flights during shutdown. Though passenger operations were limited to rescue flights, the cargo terminal has been buzzing as demand for medical equipment to fight coronavirus and need to move essential goods including perishables and non-perishables saw more planes landing at the city airport.
