Two arrested with 258kg of sea cucumbers in Tamil Nadu

Two fishermen were arrested on Thursday night for hunting protected sea cucumbers from the Gulf of Mannar Marine National Park in Tuticorin district. Officials seized 258 kg of sea cucumbers from the accused, identified as V Raj, 45, of Thamothar Nagar in Tuticorin and S Bensigar, 27, of Loorthammalpuram in Tuticorin.
