Trichy: Firm cheats 45k investors of Rs 250 crore

The Economic Offences Wing-II of Trichy accused Chendur Fincorp run by chief executive officer Muthuramalingam and his wife Bharathi, the managing director, at Thillai Nagar, of cheating more than 45,000 customers of Rs 250 crore. The multi-crore scam came to light after the company shut its business in June and the owners escaped.
