Rush for water tankers eases in Chennai

The demand for Metrowater water tankers has come down, indicating that the crisis that gripped the city for a couple of months may have eased. Officials of Metrowater, which last week launched ‘dial for water 2.0, said they were now able to supply water within 48 hours of booking.
