DMK rides on minority wave, scrapes to victory in Vellore

The DMK on Friday managed to pip the ruling AIADMK alliance to the post, with its candidate D M Kathir Anand winning the Vellore Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 8,141 votes, defeating New Justice Party chief A C Shanmugham.
