Disappearance of an Indian Air Force AN-32 aircraft over Arunachal Pradesh on Monday has brought back memories of a similar carrier that went missing over the Bay of Bengal off Chennai’s coast three years ago. How and where the AN-32 — that took off from the Tambaram air force station and was on its way to Port Blair — disappeared remain a mystery.
