Shanmugam is new chief secretary, Tripathy DGP

The EPS government on Saturday appointed K Shanmugam as chief secretary and J K Tripathy as director general of police (law and order) and head of the police force. Tripathy will assume office on Sunday and Shanmugam will take over the reins of the state administration on Monday.
