Rs 83.5 cr deposited in TN fishermen’s accounts

The Tamil Nadu government has transferred Rs 83.5 crore to the bank accounts of 1.67 lakh fishermen as a compensation for them during the fishing ban period which just ended, fisheries minister D Jayakumar said on Sunday.
