Plastic raid: Corporation officials face backlash from traders

On the second day of the crackdown against plastic ban violation, Greater Chennai Corporation officials seized 1092.45kg of plastic with Parry’s area alone accounting for half the seizure. Tuesday’s drive brought in Rs 1.38 lakhs to the civic body as penalty from the offenders.
