Loan defaulter’s suicide bid: Officials booked

The Palakkarai police registered a case against IDFC Bank branch managers Selvapriya and Moorthy after S Sudha, 33, of Sengulam Colony set herself on fire at her home on Saturday. They had used a derogatory language against her for not replaying the loan properly, police said.
