Dog bites, injures schoolgirl in Mangadu

A 12-year-old schoolgirl, who was injured after being bitten by the pet Rottweiler of a neighbour in Mangadu on Wednesday morning, is recovering at a government hospital in the city. The girl, identified as Keerthana, also injured a hand after she fell on the road while trying to run away from the dog. The Mangadu police didn’t register a case as the victim’s parents refused to lodge a complaint.
