Borewell sunk on footpath in T Nagar despite resident complaints

A borewell has been illegally sunk on a footpath along Motilal Street in T Nagar by one of the residents. Other residents complain that the civic authorities did nothing to stop him though they had raised the issue when drilling started over two weeks ago. Now a manhole cover hides the borewell from view and the motor has apparently been installed inside the adjacent compound of the person who got it made.
