2-day heatwave in Chennai, temp to cross 40°C

People of Tamil Nadu may not get any respite from the sweltering heat at least for the next two days as the meteorological department has forecast heatwave conditions for Chennai, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur districts. The southern and northern suburbs are likely to be hotter than the core areas of the city.
