Tiruvarur bypoll: Cong extends support to DMK

The Congress on Wednesday formally extended its support to the candidate to be fielded by the DMK in Tiruvarur assembly constituency, where a byelection will be held on January 28. The assembly constituency became vacant following the death former DMK president and former Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi.
