Trichy temple accountant held for idol theft

The Idol wing CID police on Wednesday arrested the accountant of Sri Tharuganeswarar temple in Thirupparaithurai in Trichy in connection with the theft of an antique idol of goddess Angalamman at the behest of two men including the former executive officer.
