Metro work triggers traffic snarls in Chennai

The traffic police have warned people to brace for traffic snarls and one-ways on arterial Arcot Road along which metro rail has begun construction for phase 2, but commuters on the stretch only experience chaos. Inadequate planning and daily changes have resulted in violation of road rules and made driving a nightmare.
