Oxygen crisis: TN dips into its emergency reserves

wo weeks after Tamil Nadu started asking the Centre to enhance oxygen allocation to the state to 500 metric tonnes from 280 metric tonnes under a revised allocation plan, consumption level of oxygen at hospitals in the state crossed 450 tonnes on Thursday, forcing health authorities to send emergency message across hospitals.
