DMK’s 37.7% vote share, second lowest since 1996

Data for the intensely fought TN assembly elections show that the DMK has won 133 seats and a majority on its own by polling 37.7% of the popular valid votes. This is the party’s second lowest vote share in the three assembly polls it has won since 1996.
