After poll rout, MNM VPs and gen secys quit

Kamal Haasan’s party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) received a major post-election jolt on Thursday as its two vice-presidents – R Mahendran and V Ponraj – quit their posts. Mahendran has also resigned from the primary membership of the party, citing un-democratic manner in which Kamal is running the party.
