TN: PMK-AIADMK talks on quota inconclusive

The AIADMK government’s parleys with the PMK on Wednesday on its demand for internal reservation for the vanniyar community within the MBC quota of 20% remained inconclusive. The government is firm on awaiting the report of the Justice Kulasekaran commission, constituted in December in the wake of violent protests by the PMK, to collect quantifiable data on castes, communities and tribes, sources said.
