TN: DMK may keep at least 190 seats for itself

The DMK is aiming to field at least 190 candidates, which is more than 80% of seats in the 234-member assembly, on its ‘rising sun’ symbol in the forthcoming assembly election. The candidates contesting on the rising sun symbol could include allies, including MDMK, VCK and Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi, said sources in the DMK and the allies.
