Trial of Covaxin begins in Chennai, 2 given shots

The phase-1 human clinical trials of indigenous Covid-19 vaccine, called Covaxin, began at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre in Kattankulathur on Thursday with two volunteers being administered the first set of doses through injections.
