Underage marriage arranged in Tirunelveli thwarted

It was not an easy job for officials from the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) and the Special Juvenile Police Unit (SJPU) to stop the marriage that was arranged for an underaged couple at Melapalayam in Tirunelveli city on Saturday. After putting in efforts for nearly six hours it was stopped around 9.30 pm.
