A 54-year-old diabetic, critical with chronic illness, brought to the Covid-19 isolation ward died at the Kanyakumari government medical college hospital on Sunday. His samples have been sent for Covid-19 testing. Meanwhile, samples of all three who died at the same hospital on Saturday with suspected Covid-19 symptoms, came back negative, confirmed health officials. So far, in Tamil Nadu, only one Covid-19 death, that of a 54-year-old man from Madurai, has been recorded.
