Walayar check post was crowded on Tuesday with several hundreds of Tamils returning to the state from Kerala, where they are employed, since morning following the announcement on imposition of Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Similarly, there was an outflow of Keralites, who have been working in the state, to their hometowns through the check post. They were all allowed in or out only after screening.
