Chennai suburbs to get 55 new parks in 9 months

In a big boost to the city’s lung space, the corporation has planned to set up 55 new parks across the extended areas. Most of these parks will come up in places such as Perungudi, Sholinganallur, Madipakkam and Madhavaram within the next nine months, say officials.
