Cauvery irrigation: 'Will launch Rs 7.9k-cr schemes'

After declaring Cauvery delta basin as protected special agricultural zone, chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Saturday announced that he would soon launch schemes worth Rs 7,888 crore to strengthen the irrigation of the basin.
