TN CM to release water from Mettur dam on Tue

Given the good inflow in the last few days with Karnataka releasing abundant water from the Cauvery reservoirs, Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Monday announced that he would open the sluice gates of the Mettur dam in Salem district on Monday.
