SR to pay NRI family Rs 4L for baggage loss

The district consumer disputes redressal forum, Chennai (north), has directed Southern Railway to compensate Rs 4 lakh to a non-resident Indian (NRI) family whose luggage was allegedly stolen from a second AC compartment of Tamil Nadu Express in 2015.
