TN: 1.7L apply for engineering seats in govt quota

The number of applications this time for government quota engineering seats in the state was the highest in five years. The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) committee got 1,74,171 online applications this year for around 1.4 lakh government quota seats. This is13,667 (9%) more than the previous year.
