Form TN Press Council in 3 months: Madras HC

The Madras high court has set a three-month deadline for the state government to constitute a ‘Press Council of Tamil Nadu’, saying it is necessary to weed out fake journalists, mushrooming journalists’ associations/unions and to regulate distribution of identity cards, passes and other state doles.
