500-bed Chennai hosp, 5 more schemes mark Karuna anniv

The state government on Thursday made six announcements to commemorate the 98th birth anniversary of former chief minister M Karunanidhi, including construction of a 500-bed multi super-specialty hospital on the premises of King Institute of Preventive Medicine and Research in Guindy at a cost of Rs 250 crore.
