Total Covid-19 cases in Tamil Nadu nears 4 lakh

The cumulative case tally in Tamil Nadu neared four lakh on Wednesday with 5,958 new cases. The state reported 118 deaths, pushing the cumulative toll to 6,839. After the state discharged 5,606 patients on Wednesday, the recovery rate stood at 82%. At the end of the day, there were 52,362 people still under treatment.
