'Seaweed off TN coast has unique scent'

Some of the top luxury fashion brands in the world have used seaweed, among a few other marine sources, as an ingredient to make handmade limited edition colognes that could make its wearer smell like the ocean. But researchers say very few species in regions like the Baltic, Pacific and Atlantic were studied for its potential as fragrance in the beauty industry.
