NGT asks Chitlapakkam panchayat to install CCTV

The National Green Tribunal (NGT), southern zone, has directed the Chitlapakkam town panchayat to install CCTV cameras to prevent dumping of garbage on the access road of a bridge joining Chitlapakkam with Tambaram Sanatorium area. NGT also directed the local body to constantly monitor and levy fine on violators.
