Tamil Nadu: 2.5L held for violation of curfew

Since March 24, nearly 2.50 lakh people in the state were arrested and 2.11 lakh vehicles of the arrested seized for violating the prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC. Police imposed Rs 1.26 crore as fines against the violators.
