Prices of some common vegetables went through the roof at Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex (KWMC) on Sunday after more buyers than the anticipated number turned up. Market authorities had reduced stock arrivals from farmers by one-third on Sunday, expecting lower footfalls due to the complete lockdown.
