Killer kites make comeback at Chennai's Saidapet

Kites have once again taken over the sky over Saidapet, despite the city police having banned the activity after a slew of accidents involving the maanja thread used for it. Ever since the lockdown came into effect, a range of kites, some made in manufacturing units and others at home, hit the sky in the evenings. Some even use newspaper to make one.
