Chicken prices soar across TN as supplies hit

Lack of adequate supplies has pushed retail prices of chicken sharply in the state over the past 10 days, with retail prices hovering around Rs 200 a kg. Chicken was sold at around Rs 150 a kg in January and crashed to Rs 100 a kg mid-March when Covid-19 scare spelled trouble for meat.
