TN: 80 held for stir over organizing jallikattu

As many as 80 people, including 21 women, were arrested by the police on Monday for trying to block the road at Avaniapuram in protest against the district collector’s order giving “secondary preference” to the traditional people in organizing the renowned jallikattu event there.
