DMK leads oppon's walkout during guv speech

The DMK and other opposition party legislators boycotted the governor's address to the Tamil Nadu assembly on Monday, demanding permission to raise the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and other issues pertaining to the state's finances. As governor Banwarilal Purohit began his address, DMK chief M K Stalin interrupted and spoke about the CAA and other issues and walked out with other MLAs shortly thereafter.
