384 EVMs, 692 VVPATs replaced in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu has recorded nearly 40% polling till 1pm since the polling began at 7am. Serpentine queues were seen at all polling booths in the state till 11am when people rushed to cast their votes and beat the heat. But after 11am, the polling rate came down.
