Tamil Nadu’s Thirubuvanam silk sari gets GI tag

The Geographical Indications Registry of the Government of India has given Geological Indication (GI) Tag to the traditional Thirubuvanam silk saris. The registry is likely to hand over the certificate on Wednesday.
