Minor girl married to relative rescued in TN

A 17-year-old girl who became a victim of child marriage following the elopement of her elder sister was rescued by the district child protection unit (DCPU) and the Tirunelveli district police on Friday. Officials said that the girl who was studying for Class XII had not been going to school after she got married to a youth related to her about a week ago.
