Technicians forced to take up other jobs?

Every year at least 21 medical colleges admit around 20 to 25 students each for a two-year course on becoming anesthesia technicians. The course was inaugurated by former chief minister J Jayalalithaa in 2005. However, 13 years later, the students say the Tamil Nadu government has not called them for recruitment into hospitals even once.
