Court refuses to send editor to judicial custody

In a tight slap on the Chennai city police which invoked sedition charges and arrested Tamil bi-weekly magazine Nakkheeran’s editor R Gopal, a magistrate court in Egmore here on Tuesday evening declined to remand him in judicial custody.
