TN readies infrastructure to tackle Omicron cases

One more passenger from the United Kingdom who landed in Chennai tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday. The public health laboratory sent test samples to the whole genome sequencing labs in Chennai and Bengaluru to check if the passenger was carrying the Omicron variant.
